Mission and Vision
Gibbs Publishing Conglomerate was established by Dameon and Tiffany Gibbs. Self-published authors for over a decade, they gained expertise in drafting their own manuscripts, formatting, and publication. They both shared a desire to become author publishers, but the “someday” became “today” after a meeting with a potential publisher for their work; that was nothing short of a divine appointment. After opening in prayer and listening to their background and experience, during the conversation, the publisher stated, "You already have everything you need, you can do this yourself.” It confirmed what the authors had been feeling for years. It was time to move!
Our mission is to
- Publish the work of the founders through the Gibbs Publishing imprint;
- Build our company through integrity and transparency in our processes;
- Work in partnership with aspiring authors to bring their work from manuscript to publication;
- Ensure authors under Gibbs Publishing Conglomerate retain all rights to their work; and
- Ensure our authors receive fair compensation for their work.
Our vision is to:
- Inspire others, both authors and readers; and
- Help cultivate future generations of author publishers.
Authors and Founders
Dameon Gibbs is a native of Baltimore, MD. He holds a BA in Anthropology and World History and a MA in Classical Studies. Dameon has been an avid writer since his days in high school during the late 1990's. He enjoys the creative process of all writing genres, whether it be religious, poetic, science fiction, historical, biographies or action adventure.
Tiffany Gibbs is a native of Virginia Beach, VA but grew up outside of Baltimore, MD. She holds a BA in English and Psychology and a MS in Human Resource Development. Tiffany, who also writes under the name Tiffany Michele, is an author who crosses genres. Whether it be nonfiction, science fiction, or poetry, Tiffany enjoys it all. She enjoys writing books for children, as well as for young adults, and adult readers. Her love of reading started early and grew as she began to craft her own stories from an early age. She aims to encourage, inspire, and educate in her stories.
